FUNDRAISING IS EASY

Many of you know we raise funds in a variety of ways to enable us to provide the services that we do to the local community.

We have a range of ways for you to support Ham and Petersham SOS that are easy for you to use.

Sign up and chose SOS as your charity, and when you shop online, use Give as you live as your browser and it will track your online purchases and donate a percentage to SOS

It gives you the option to send e-cards whilst donating the value of a card/s (and stamps) to your chosen charity (SOS of course.)  You’ll be able to search and select SOS from a list of charities

  • Thinking about entering a local lottery?

Look no further than https://www.getluckylocal.co.uk/

With ticket prices of £1 per ticket, 50p will go directly to your chosen charity.  Again, search and select SOS and we will receive a donation with every ticket purchased whilst you could win extra tickets a cash prize and more

  • Are you in the market for a new car?

Did you know you could donate your car to charity? Take a look at https://giveacar.co.uk/  You are able to donate older cars that would be scrapped as well as newer cars (they maybe sent to auction) with the money being donated to SOS

This is another way of raising money for SOS when you shop online.  Simply sign up, sign in and shop to raise money for charity

It’s easy to sign up and donate your collected points to SOS

  • As a charity we rely on donations from our supporters, these donations are vital to enable us to continue providing services to the local community and ensure that we can keep going for the next generation of older people.  We are able to take cash and cheque donations in person and via the post as well as in person donations via card payments.  Alternatively, we are able to provide our bank details to enable a BACS payment.  Don’t forget, all donations are eligible for Gift Aid if you pay tax in the UK
  • Could you leave SOS a legacy in your will.  As a nation we rarely talk about what happens when you pass away, and thinking of leaving money to charity in your will is also an unspoken element.  It is simple to add a legacy to your will; a simple statement of intent can ensure that some money is left to your chosen charity
